AITI is an approved provider of Working at Heights through Safetyscope's program which is registered with the Ministry of Labour. 

New Working at Heights training guidelines have come into effect for;

Working at Heights program consists of the following;

  • This course is eight hours in duration. Starts at 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Breaks at 10:00am to 10:10am and 2:00pm to 2:10pm
  • Lunch is from 12:00 noon to 12:30pm

Students must have safety boots and if they have a harness and shock absorber please bring at the time of course.

Working at Heights Basic Theory Module

·         Rights and Responsibilities

·         Identification of the Hazards of Working at Heights

·         Eliminating or Controlling the Hazards of Working at Heights

·         Warning Methods and Physical Barriers

·         Ladders and Similar Equipment

·         Personal Fall Protection Equipment

Working at Heights Practical Equipment Module

·         Barriers and Safety Nets

·         Personal Fall Protection Equipment

·         Anchor Points

·         Work Positioning Systems, Work Access Equipment, and Platforms

·         Rescue Planning

Must pass written test and obtain a mark of 75% or more

Pass evaluation of demonstration of using equipment hands on.

Please note that participants must have proper identification such as a Drivers Lic to identify the individual taking the Working at heights Program before they may participate.

Payment is due at time of registration; Visa, Master Card, Company Cheque will be accepted or cash. Payment must be confirmed before a spot will be reserved for individual(s) registered to attend the course based on schedule provided for public courses.

Courses can be conducted at your site or place of business.

More training over and above this course may be required for job specific based on equipment used and based on your trade.
