Stilts Training
This course will help workers in the safe practices when using stilts base on section 116 of the regulations in the province of Ontario for construction projects. This course is for workers in the drywall trade.
This course includes hands on training;
-
inspection
-
maintenance of equipment,proper use and care of using stilts.

health issues with regards to using stilts (muscle constraints,blood circulation and other health risks),
-
housekeeping,
- gurardrails, and scaffolding.
- working at elevated heights
- Paractical part of the course will also include putting and taking off equipment,walking with stilts and the using of trowel and putty while using equipment.
Each course participant will have to provide their own stilts and must be in good working order and pass inspection by instructor before use. Company must provide facility for practical hands on.
This is a four hour course.
